March to Westminster

added by Hugh on 12 Feb 2013

Date: Monday 25 February 2013

Start point: Between Belvedere Rd and the London Eye, alongside County Hall (the London Aquarium building).

Arrival time: for 11.30

Rally sets off at: 12:00

To show the government how much support there is for more marine protection, and the 127 MCZs (Marine Conservation Zones), I’ve joined up with our friends at the Marine Conservation Society, Sealife and the British Sub-Aqua Club to arrange a big rally in Westminster.

We’re going to march from the London Aquarium to the Houses of Parliament, at 12 noon on Monday February 25th. And we’ll be filming it all for the last episode of Fish Fight, just 3 days later!

Come and join us – and feel free to dress up in the fishiest fashion you can find: mermaids, scuba divers, sharks, and fishermen – all are welcome!

Use #fishfight on twitter to tell us and your friends that you are coming.
